A quiet, creative space for searching, worship, and rest
Ember is Grangewood’s quarterly alternative worship gathering — a gentle, spacious evening shaped by music from The Porter’s Gate, Bifrost Arts, and other progressive and contemplative worship communities.
This is not a space of certainty or easy answers. Ember is a place to breathe. To wonder. To sit with questions. To encounter God in music, silence, scripture, and love.
Each gathering weaves together:
- Thoughtful, justice‑minded worship music
- Quiet reflection and contemplative prayer
- Tactile or creative practices that help us engage with God beyond words
- A posture of welcome for every story, every doubt, every hope
Whether you come carrying faith, curiosity, exhaustion, or longing, Ember offers a gentle glow — a place to warm your spirit, reconnect with God, and rest in community.
All are welcome.
